Kieran at 8 and 9 months

Kieran has had a very busy couple months. Here is what he has been up to...

Grammy (the baby whisperer) and Kieran at Caden's birthday party

Playing with Papa
We finally opened up his crawl-thru house, which was a Christmas present from Nana and Papa. He loves it!

Kieran also loved the balloons from Caden's birthday.

Enjoying a visit from Aunt Shannon

Kieran loves being outside. He didn't even mind the breeze on this day.

Discovering grass and leaves...things he can try to eat

Giving the monkey's foot a taste

After church in his adorable suit from Grammy

Nana and Papa brought a load of the big boys' old toys from their basement. It was like Christmas all over again (without the bills). Kieran is a big fan of making music on the crocodile piano.

First heavy duty cold lead to Kieran's first prescription...nebulizer treatments three times a day for a week. He was a trooper!

Trying so hard to crawl! Kieran was able to move himself around by scooting and army crawling first.

Showing off his two teeth and beautiful blue eyes

Kieran loves this little pink flower. It is often seen hanging out of his mouth.

9-month photo shoot...He weighed 19 lbs. 4 oz. and measured 28 1/2 in. long. He's CRAWLING everywhere, rolling both directions (finally), sitting himself up, pulling up a little depending on the object, babbling, growling, playing catch, waving bye-bye shyly, possibly clapping, and trying table food.

Crawling under his exersaucer just like his big brothers did

Caden likes feeding Kieran. He is a great big brother and a big help to me.

Didn't quite make it through dinner on this night. That's what happens when a 9-month-old baby tries skipping naps already.

Watching his big brothers play on the playset and wanting to join them, but Mommy was making dinner. :(

Kieran has learned so much over the last two months! Time is flying (too quickly)!

Cole's Field Trip

At the end of April, Cole's preschool visited Cozy Creek Family Farm. After discovering a need for gas when we were already leaving a little late and then making a wrong turn, we finally made it to the farm. Fortunately, we only missed a couple animals. At least, Kieran was able to snooze a little longer in the van.

After touring the farm, we ate a picnic lunch and Cole played with his friends on the playground.

It was a beautiful day on the farm. We had a fun time. Cole's favorite parts of the field trip were the hay maze and hayride. So glad we finally made it there!

Caden's Family Tea

At the end of April, Caden's class, along with two other first grade classes, hosted a Family Tea. The kids sang several songs and recited poems about moms, dads, and family. Caden and his fellow first graders must have worked hard to memorize so much material. I was impressed! They did a wonderful job!

After the performance, we returned to the classroom to read some writing samples, check out the incubating eggs, and eat snacks.

It's hard to believe that another school year is almost over. So proud of Caden!

Easter 2011

The boys and I spent Easter weekend in Rankin with Nana, Papa, Aunt Shannon, and Josh while Curt was on call. The following photo was supposed to be at the end with the other family photos, but the site is not cooperating so it is staying here. The spacing is weird too. I give up trying to correct it.

The weekend started out very rainy, so the boys broke out the old Gameboys.

Cole taking a look at his treats

Kieran didn't know what all the excitement was about, but he was happy.

A treat on Easter...eating chocolate while still wearing pjs

Kieran's favorite activity of the weekend was playing bounce and catch the ball.

The weather was iffy according to the news and the yard was soaking wet, so the Easter Bunny hid the eggs inside. If you look very closely, you'll see the Easter Bunny still hanging out in the yard.

Lots of eggs were hidden and found!

Kieran will help hunt eggs next year.

Emptying the eggs to find lots and lots of candy

So much candy!

Josh and the big boys playing soccer

Kieran enjoyed being outside too.

Time for family photos...

Trying to get a photo of the boys and me was not easy. Where's Cole?

Playing the piano, of course

As good as it gets...
