SNOW!

We were finally blessed with some snow to play in!  All of the boys had lots of fun.

Cole making a snow angel

It was too cold on the day that the older boys played in the snow after school, so Kieran watched unhappily from the window.

More snow angels

The temps warmed up a little over the weekend, so Kieran was able to play in the snow for the first time.

He loved it, except for the snow in his gloves.

Kieran especially enjoyed sledding.

Is Cole's hat over his eyes? Yes! Can he see? I really do not know how.

Caden loves saucer sledding.

We are really hoping for more snow this winter!

Christmas 2011

Another wonderful Christmas at our house!

Santa came!

Caden was thrilled that Santa picked the spy safe from his very long list of suggestions.

Cole requested a blue Angry Bird from Santa.

After checking out their Santa gifts, the boys emptied their stockings.

After checkng out all that Santa left, we had breakfast, and then the boys opened presents from us.

Later in the morning, Nana and Papa arrived with a truckload of presents.  Aunt Shannon and Josh arrived in the afternoon.  (I don't know why they aren't in any of the photos.)

Kieran helped Papa unload a box of presents.

Then he stacked the presents in a tower!

Caden received a Paper Jamz guitar, microphone, and amp.

Sorry, Aunt Mariah! Kieran is not a big fan of his cute puffer vest.

This Christmas was lots of fun with the boys (as they always are).  I hated to see the season end.  We're already looking forward to Christmas 2012!

Christmas Eve 2011

This year, Grammy came up to spend Christmas Eve with us.  Unfortunately, Grandpa and Aunt Mariah were not able to come, but we had a fun day celebrating with Grammy.

Grammy and the boys--Wish this photo wasn't so dark. I was still trying to figure out my new camera.

An attempt to get a photo of the boys before Christmas Eve church service

Our family (Cole wishes everyone "peace" in the new year.)

After Christmas Eve service at church, we enjoyed pizza and watched a Christmas movie, and then we opened up our new ornaments.

Peace and bunny ears!
Before heading up to bed, the boys put out milk, cookies, and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.  We checked Santa's location one more time, and then read a few Christmas stories.  Caden had a great deal of difficulty falling asleep from all the excitement and anticipation.  It took him nearly two hours to drift into dreamland.  We thought Santa would never get to stop at our house!

Cole's Christmas Program

A few photos from Cole's preschool Christmas program...

Cole with his decorated "C" for the Christmas Alphabet--He had to say, "C is for candle and carol as well."

Cole and the other preschoolers sang several songs. He did a great job on his line!
