We packed a lot of fun into the month of July.
We started out the month right by picking up Caden from Camp Ondessonk. Sure signs of lots of fun and outdoor adventures--no voice and a nasty case of poison ivy. Despite that, Caden had a blast at camp and is planning to go back next summer.

On 4th of July, we enjoyed backyard fun.
We watched an awesome fireworks show at Panther Creek Country Club.
Caden took a babysitting class at St. John's Hospital with his friends, Jacob and Ryan.
Caden mowed the yard at Nana and Papa's duplex this summer. He enjoyed the income of a weekly job.
Kendra and I took a seafood cooking class at Lincoln Land Community College. We made a salmon salad with grilled bratwursts that the chef needed to use. We had so much fun cooking together and enjoying the tasty food afterward.

Over the weekend of Kieran's birthday, Kieran attended two friend birthday parties, plus his own party.

During the last week of July, I took Kieran, Lilly, and Maddie ("birthday triplets") to the summer reading program at Chatham Public Library. Kieran was so excited to take the girls with us. I laughed every morning while listening to their conversations.
Caden finished up five years of piano lessons with Rachel.
Cole and his friend, Ethan attended College for Kids at Lincoln Land Community College together.
Caden and his friends, Jacob and Ryan attended Asian Cooking at College for Kids. After class one day, they went on a Pokemon hunt around campus together.

On the last Friday of July, the boys and I went to Knights Action Park for some water fun. Before leaving, I let the boys play in the jungle gym. Big mistake!!! Caden's toes got caught up in some netting, and he came out of the jungle gym with a badly broken second toe. Three days before cross country practice started! Bad timing!

This is how Caden spent the last weekend of July.
We had a fun weekend with Shannon and Josh. We played games of bocce ball, ladders, Ticket to Ride, Exploding Kittens, and poolside Bingo. We also enjoyed a walk at Lincoln Memorial Gardens and a swim at Island Bay Yacht Club.
