Way back in July, we spent a fun five days at Kalahari in the Wisconsin Dells.
DAY 1
While waiting for our room to be ready, we checked out the arcade and ropes course. Curt, Caden, and Cole braved the ropes course.

After getting into our room, we spent the rest of the afternoon at the outdoor water park.

Caden took a break from the water slides to hang out with Kieran in the little kids' pool |

Kieran stood here for several minutes after being told he couldn't go face-first down the water slides. Each lifeguard seemed to have their own rules since he had been doing it for quite some time before being told to stop. His feelings were hurt, but he finally moved on. |
DAY 2
We started the day at the outdoor water park, and then tried out the indoor water park. We finished the day with dinner at Buffalo Phil's and some fun at the arcade.
Kieran trying out the playground while the big boys went on water slide after water slide after water slide.
Indoor water fun--This place will be great for a mid-winter getaway!

Caden and Cole mastering the lily pads |
Kieran had a lot of fun on the small water slides inside.
|
Cole took a break from the big water slides to join Kieran for a little while. |
All of my boys love arcade fun!
|
Kieran was a BIG winner! |
We took a break from gaming to play a round of mini golf.
|
Caden's turn as the BIG winner. |
DAY 3
More outdoor water park fun followed by a duck boat tour and dinner at Moosejaw Pizza.
Kieran happy as can be in the little kids' pool
It was not easy to get photos of Caden because he was always on the water slides. Unfortunately, he ended up with a nasty case of swimmer's ear by the end of the trip.
Curt and Kieran hung out while I went on some water slides with the big boys.

Cole and me |
After lunch, we went on a duck boat tour. A duck boat travels on both land and water. We went through a forest, along Wisconsin River, into Lake Delton, and then back.

The ride on the Wisconsin River made Kieran very sleepy, but he didn't give in. |
On the way to or from getting a treat from the candy bar that night
DAY 4
Our last morning was pretty chilly for outside water activities, but we braved the temp and started outside, then went to the indoor water park until lunch and back outside again. We finished our last full day with the Tommy Bartlett Ski Sky Stage Show, dinner at a yummy burger and shake place (cannot remember the name), and another trip to the arcade.

Caden shivering |
There was a boogie board/surfing simulator at the indoor water park. It was not easy to stay on the board, but the boys really enjoyed it. Neither of them got to the point where they could attempt standing, but they had fun trying to stay on the board.

DAY 5
After packing the room up, we went to the go cart track before check out.

Kieran watched because he's not quite tall enough yet. |

We had a very fun stay at Kalahari and will definitely return! (I'm so thankful Caden's swimmer's ear didn't hit until the end of the trip and my strep throat didn't hit until after we returned.)
