Caden ready for a race |
After a full afternoon at the pool, we sent Curt off to work an overnight shift and waited for Nana and Papa to arrive in time for fireworks.
The next day, we visited Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis for the first time. Curt stayed home to sleep after working overnight. We were long overdue for a visit. We had heard wonderful things. The summer-long Lego display prompted us to make the visit. So glad we did! It was a fantastic day!

This photo was taken right before Cole was stung by the largest bee I've ever seen. Thankfully, he was fine, but his fear of bees and wasps has increased drastically. |
